In Northern Ireland, fundamentalists in secret societies threaten the very existence of the Tuatha De Danann, a tribe of benevolent mystical beings that have aided the people since the days before St. Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland. Sprites, such as nymphs and changelings and young wizards being the favorite target of the likes of the wicked priest Father Dougal. Even worse, Father Dougal's group, called The Fellowship of the Martyr, takes over a castle that hides the entrance to the Otherworld-!
But then a young man named Brian MacLyle rises from the ashes of an ages-old warrior clan, the clan of which the Castle MacLyle was named for. He comes wielding a powerful sword that once belonged to Sir Lyle himself...a sword that purifies evil. The son of a hateful father and a daughter of the Clan MacLyle, Brian has his work cut out for him as he is forced to confront his own father, win back the Castle MacLyle, the freedom for the mystics to live in peace, and go back to the woman he loves in one piece.
